A collection of six action movies starring British actor Jason Statham. 'The Expendables' (2010), directed by Sylvester Stallone, boasts an ensemble cast of action stalwarts including Stallone, Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Steve Austin, Terry Crews and Mickey Rourke.

The film, which follows a group of professional killers as they join forces to bring down a South American dictator, also boasts cameo appearances from Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis, and sees Stallone and Schwarzenegger sharing a screen for the first time ever.

In 'Blitz' (2011), based on the novel by Ken Bruen, a serial killer is on the loose in London, targeting the members of an already beleaguered police force.

Tough, homophobic, plain clothes copper Brant (Statham) is assigned to the case along with his openly gay partner, Porter Nash (Paddy Considine).

As the uniformed body count rises and pressure mounts from all sides, a deadly game of wits plays out between Brant and his quarry, neither of whom are willing to lose without a brutal fight. 'The Bank Job' (2008) is based on the true story of a 1971 London bank robbery that baffled the authorities and captivated the public.

Statham stars as Terry Leather, a former crooked car salesman who wants to put his shady past behind him and start a family.

But when Terry's old neighbour, Martine Love (Saffron Burrows), proposes a foolproof plan to rob a Baker Street bank, Terry reluctantly agrees to come on board.

As the operation gets underway, the resourceful group of thieves tunnel their way into a safe-deposit vault at the Lloyds Bank in Marylebone where they discover millions of pounds worth of cash and priceless gems.

However, Terry and his crew don't realise the boxes also contain a treasure trove of dirty secrets that will thrust them into a deadly web of corruption and illicit scandal that spans London's criminal underworld, the British government, and even the Royal Family.

In 'War' (2007), after his partner is brutally murdered by the infamous assassin, Rogue (Jet Li), FBI agent Jack Crawford (Statham) vows to find the elusive killer and personally avenge his partner's death.

But Rogue proves untraceable until three years later when he resurfaces to ignite a bloody turf war between Chinese mob leader Chang (John Lone) and Japanese Yakuza boss Shiro (Ryo Ishibashi).

Eager to capture Rogue once and for all, Crawford leads his team of crime specialists headlong into the conflict.

But Crawford's thirst for vengeance jeopardises his professional judgement, and, as the violence escalates, he finally comes face to face with his enemy only to discover that nothing about Rogue or his plan is quite what it seems. 'Chaos' (2005) follows two cops on the trail of a criminal mastermind.

Forced to team up with new rookie partner Shane Dekker (Ryan Phillippe) when a shooting goes badly wrong, veteran detective Quentin Connors (Statham) has to grin and bear it.

But they soon have to forget about personality clashes when arch criminal Lorenz (Wesley Snipes) and his gang steal over one billion dollars in a bank heist.

A game of cat and mouse soon develops, with the cops baffled as to how 'Mr Big' seems to know their every move.

Finally, in Guy Ritchie's 'Revolver' (2005), Jake Green (Statham) is a hotshot gambler, long on audacity and short on common sense.

He's rarely allowed to play in any casino these days because he's dangerous - he's a winner.

One night Jake and his two older brothers, Billy (Andrew Howard) and Joe (Stephen Walters), are invited to sit in on a private game; a game that is fixed for Jake to lose to Macha (Ray Liotta), a top dog crime boss and casino owner who can't play for squat, but always wins because you just aren't allowed to lose to him.

But Jake isn't afraid of Macha and not only beats him in a quick game of chance, but also takes every possible opportunity to throw insults.

As Jake and his brothers leave the game, Macha puts out the order for a hit on Jake.

However, a twist of fate gets Jake working for a pair of brothers, who just happen to have their own agenda for Macha.
