The Stephen K Amos Show sees Stephen excel at what he does best - stand-up, sketches, some hidden camera fun and a healthy dose of audience participation all set against the backdrop of what makes him laugh. Each show is loosely themed, providing a backbone to the content. Broad, bright and mainstream in outlook, the series covers topics like school days, travel, fitting in and relationships.
Starting off with stand-up, Stephen tells the audience about his week, followed by a series of short and long sketches - ambitious, universal in appeal, and most importantly, very funny. Along the way we meet characters like Paul Hammer, stuntman to the stars
TA Tony, the drill sergeant who's always on duty
and Bad Bond, the spy who keeps on forgetting his gadgets. And another important part of the show is the studio audience--no-one is safe, anyone and everyone could be brought on stage, spoken to or mentioned by the man himself.
