Shaun Brumder, a high school senior, dreams of attending Stanford University until his guidance counselor mistakenly spoils his chances. Shaun's journey soon becomes one filled with hilarity his girlfriend, dysfunctional parents and stoner brother get in the mix and try to help him make his dream of escaping his hometown nightmare a reality.
