If the signal dies so does she. Though she's held captive, Jessica Martin (Basinger) manages to contact an unsuspecting young man (Evans) via his cell phone. As he becomes her only lifeline to thwarting the abduction of her young son, the good samaratin soon gets way more than he bargained for. The story was created by director Larry Cohen (Q: The Winged serpent, The Stuff), who also worked on the script for Phone Booth.
