in a world where nature has gone mad and flying, fuelled by the wind, is the principal means of travel, a runaway fugitive is kidnapped by a young adventurer intent on collecting a reward for his capture. However, the law officers who themselves wish to imprison the fugitive do not give up easily and so from the depths of the earth to the edge of existence the hunt goes on!
