Weekend At Bernies (DVD)

What starts as a typical, carefree labour day at the beach for two young insurance company employees turns into a few days of murder, mayhem, romance and hilarious misadventures! Weekend at Bernies stars Andrew McCarthy and Jonathan Silverman as an enterprising employees Larry and Richard who, having uncovered an elaborate scheme of fraud and embezzlement at their company are awarded their own holiday at their boss's posh house at the Hamptons in Long Island. Impressed by the perks at the end of the corporate ladder, the two friends are eager to participate in the social life of the Hamptons, especially when Richard discovers the girl of his dreams, Gwen (Catherine Mary Stewart), is also there. But their boss, Bernie (Terry Kiser), is a successful businessman with a highly checkered background, and at a beach house party to end all such summer social institutions, the guest of honour turns up dead, which hardly affects those invited, and Larry and Richard continue to live with him without spoiling their vacation with hilarious and startling results!
